FAQs

If you have a question that isn't answered below then feel free to give us a call on 0800 2300 025. Alternatively you can contact us by email or post.

  • What is the difference between a Trust Deed and a Protected Trust Deed?
A Protected Trust Deed means that once you have paid off your monthly contributions a creditor can no longer pursue any legal action against you providing you keep up with the payments.
  • How long does a Trust Deed last?
Most Trust Deeds will take 3 years to complete with you paying a monthly payment over the 36 months. If it is longer or shorter than this period depends on your situation.
  • Will my house be taken from me?
You may be required to remortgage your home in order to make equity available to your creditors. Whether or not you lose your home depends how much equity you have. It is strongly advisable to check how much equity have before you apply for a Trust Deed.
